Welcome to Communication Academy!
Communication Academy offers after school enrichment classes and camps all year round to students in grades K-12. We were the first to offer Public Speaking courses in Cupertino, CA and have since expanded to offer Debate, Writing, Reading, and Math. We work in partnership with numerous city recreations to offer our classes and camps throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our History
In 2001, the director of Communication Academy, Jackson Chow, was looking for public speaking and debate classes for his seventh grade son who was an aspiring lawyer. The options were few and extremely expensive. This led him to organize his own Public Speaking camp, which took off with incredible success and demand.
Our Mission
We believe that communication is the most important skill to have in life. Having great communication skills will lead you to success in whatever you choose to do.

Classes and camps
Classes are available quarterly: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Camps are available for holiday breaks and Summer.
Spring and Summer camps and classes are available now in Cupertino, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Foster City, Burlingame, Fremont, Millbrae, and Milpitas.
Gain confidence and improve your speaking skills. Expect to do fun activities and presentations regularly.
Improve your critical thinking by participating in debates. Learn different formats, how to create arguments, and do solid research.
Practice different types of public speaking by being part of a jury. Trials are age appropriate.
Love math? Our Math classes consist of advanced math problems focusing more on word problems, patterns, or advanced equations.
Using National Speech & Debate Association topics, students will learn to compete at a high level.
